what was added / changed from last release of data tool 1.x?

new:

fixed file-size bug in .x to col converter
fixed .col editor file replace
added col file rename (lol)
generally better .col file handling (can even reconize corrupt col files etc.. )

- col editor finished (YAY!)
- img / dir file delete bug fixed
- simple converter that will convert directx .x meshes to .col files 
  NO MATTER what polycount!! (but i still advise you to keep them below 
  1000 polies for buildings and 50 polies for cars, aniway.. 
  there IS a limit in gta-vc engine)
- gui changes..
- added real about box
- any files opened will automaticly have read only attributes cleared

- implemented more editors in one app
- mdi interface, editors appear inside the main window
- and you can have several files open
- improved radar image loader, now loads dxt1, dxt3 and 32bit txd images
- when you move radar cursor the window title tells you which image is 
  under, for easier radar editing
- radar can now teleport on XP/NT windowses too (not just read coords)
- dir manager now supports IMG defragmentation and multiple-files handling
- col editor in progress, it can list files and tells you which tool 
  generated the col (col-io, steve's tool and rockstar)
- data file editor extended, better editors, more visual drawing on radar for cullzone.dat and 
  other zone files.
- a lot of fixes and improvements over old just-one-file-editor data tool
  and dir manager
- most editors remember files and paths used

- it will never support xp themes, never!! unless you have a very good 
reason for me to add those 512 bytes to the exe.





the EDITOR is intend to be something like editor for A LOT of gta-vc DATA files
the editor wasn't made for gta3, but with some adjustments to this file it can
fully support gta3 files too.

beware - the editor doesn't care about how nicely tab-formatted is the file
you are editing when it comes to data it will strip all comments and extra 
formatting from it, but! it displays formatted text correctly - your comments 
will have preserved formatting and it will be also shown correctly in the file-view.

note - this file isn't just a README.TXT but also contains fragile information on how to handle
specific gta configuration files, if you nick / salvage / steal any information from this file for
your own editors i promise you i will hunt you down, steal all your source code and burn it, delete
all copies of your editor you made with my data and beat you so hard you will eat and piss in 
hospital to end of your life.

any updates to this file are btw welcome, and support for other gta files i may have forgotten too
but you should be so fair and send me a copy of the modified files so i can add them to the offical
distribution - so other people can enjoy editing other files too. same applies to any bug-fixes for
this file.

the program can be used for commercial purpose as long as you agree to what i said above.

if you haven't seen a program not-made by microsoft before and is this program is your first
freeware program you use / or will use i suggest you to screw microsoft and don't buy anything
from them ever again. screw their buggy web browser and use mozilla - www.mozilla.org
don't forget to donate mozilla some money!! same applies to their some sort of office suite
and use OpenOffice, at the end change your home-page from msn to http://www.google.com and be happy
